We have been established in Bristol for
nearly 40 years and we are proud to be
founder members of the Western
Karate Union.
The style of karate we practice has its origins in the Wado Ryu system and has been developed and enhanced over the years.
Our students come from all walks of life and range from complete novices up to International Level including a World Champion!

After all these individual achievements the Senior Men's 3 man Team consisting of Darren Haynes (BKC), Rory Daniels (BKC) and Shaun Langston (Clevedon) successfully defeated South Africa 'A' Team in a thrilling final 2-0 win.
The club has a friendly atmosphere and beginners of all ages are always welcome.

The club was founded in 1968 by Dave Wheatley, and the standards set are of the highest level.
Training is led by a team of dedicated instructors: Alan Flook (7th Dan), Dave Wheatley (7th Dan) and Andy Gunton (6th Dan) who are all nationally recognised and highly respected.
